My vision for excellence in Sculpture and Ceramics involves a student-centered approach that utilizes a variety of learning styles. I believe in removing barriers to creativity by scaffolding learning experiences for all students. My teaching style strongly emphasizes concept based sculpture that challenges students to go beyond their assumptions and achieve excellence, whether they are fulfilling a fine arts requirement or on a trajectory toward an MFA.
